The new year is here and we have the latest series of the hottest cars for 2020:
Predicted Cost: $9 million
'Bugatti has become a mainstream name in recent years after the Bugatti Veyron managed to break the Guinness World Records as the fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 267 miles per hour. Since then, the company has produced a few more of these supercars including the Chiron Sport which was even better than the Veyron. The car we’re getting from Bugatti in 2020 is actually very different from these two supercars, in that it is actually a throwback to the past rather than an attempt to reach the future. What most people don’t know is that Bugatti was originally founded back in 1909 and was closed in 1963 before being revived in the ‘90s.
The 2020 Bugatti Centodieci is an ode to the company’s original supercar and contains a W16 engine that produces 1,180 pound-feet of torque and 1,600 horsepower. The Bugatti accelerates from zero to sixty in just 2.4 seconds with a top speed of 236 miles per hour. The Centodieci vastly departs from the Chiron in-terms of style, and much more closely resembles the 1930s Type 57 SC Atlantic, or the Bugatti EB110. You can purchase the Centodieci for just under $9,000,000. Pricey yes, but you’ll sure to feel like you’re flying!
Predicted Cost: $3.4 million
Another supercar that just has to be mentioned on this list is the Pagani 2020. The creation of the Pagani 2020 was the result of painstaking effort on the part of its engineers to produce the highest-quality, most aerodynamic, best driving and fastest legal street-car to ever hit the road. It’s the spiritual successor to the Pagani Huayra and is aimed to be better than the supercar in every way possible.
The Pagani 2020 is made of carbon triax which that offers an increase of 12% in torsional rigidity and 20% in flexural rigidity. What powers this monster is a V12 60° 36 valves 5,980 cc twin turbocharger engines that were developed by Mercedes’ AMG and produce 800 horsepowers and one of the best weight-power ratios in the world. We still don’t know exactly how fast this car accelerates, but it’s highly likely that it will go from zero to sixty in just under three seconds. Prices for the Pagani 2020 start at a whopping $3,500,000 and you better hurry because according to our sources, only 40 units of this beast are going to be produced.
Predicted Cost: $5.8 million
Along with it’s throwback vehicle, the Centodieci, Bugatti also aims to reach boldly into the future with it’s Divo — an even stronger and more impressive version of the Chiron, which itself was a vastly upgraded version of the Guinness-World-Record-holding Veyron. The Divo takes everything that made the previous two supercars special and just blows it through the roof with its unmatched style that screams power, an even better aerodynamic structure, lighter build, and upgraded suspension.
Frankly, we don’t understand how Bugatti manages to keep these cars from flying in mid-acceleration despite continually improving their performance. In any case, the 2020 Divo goes from zero to sixty in just 2.4 seconds due to its eight-liter W16 engine that has four turbochargers and produces 1,500 horsepower. Bugatti’s monster is an all-wheel-drive and has a seven-speed auto transmission. Since it's one of the most exotic cars in the world, only 40 units will be produced and all have already been sold for about $5,800,000 each. The Divo is truly a car that even rich people can only dream of, and its unmistakably one of the best cars ever made.
