Monday Matchup: 2021 Dodge Challenger vs. 2021 Ford Mustang

Posted by Jess Stoeckeler on

It’s a classic rivalry. The contestants:

Challenger: The 2021 Dodge Challenger is back with the addition of aggressive widebody versions of the upper trims. A six-speed manual is the default on most trims, but an eight-speed automatic is available. The automatic is the only option with the V-6, which is also the only powertrain available with all-wheel drive.

Mustang: After a 17-year gap, the Mach 1 model returns to the Mustang lineup for 2021, powered by a five-liter V8. EcoBoost Mustangs have a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine producing 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.
